News about Hollis' death spread. After overseeing the autopsy, Li consulted with Finn about Hollis' suspicious cause of death. Li text-messaged Poppy about it, and Poppy showed up at the morgue to get information to ease Luna's mind about her friend's death. Li had discovered that Hollis and Tom had died of the same drug at the same dosage and theorized that only the former nurse Sheila could have done it. Steffy joined the chorus, and at Il Giardino, she, Li, and Finn accused Sheila of murder. When Sheila couldn't find the backpack Hollis had shown her, Finn urged Baker to take Sheila in for questioning. Steffy admired the way Finn had stood up for his family against Sheila. Brooke warned Hope against acting on her feelings for Finn, but after sparring with Steffy about the Logans, Hope told Finn about her attraction to him.
